Overview
- Duration: Friday-Sunday
- Cute coastal town about 3 hours from Dublin
My Experience
After a weekend in Galway, we took a bus to the Cliffs of Moher, on the west coast of Ireland. The bus ride was very windy and made me a little car sick, but it was worth it. After arriving, I walked along the cliffs and looked out over the Atlantic Ocean. It was very rainy and windy, but the views were beautiful, and it was one of the most memorable places I visited in Ireland. On Friday, we took the bus to Galway from Dublin, which was about 3 hours. Upon arrival, we went to the computer museum of Galway, which was very cool, but I wouldn’t recommend it if you are there for a short amount of time. We stayed at the Kinlay hostel in Galway, which was amazing. We wandered the city for a bit and then went to The Quay pub on our first night. The next day, I bought a hat made of wool and got lunch at a delicious Thai restaurant, Re Nao, and we walked along the river. We finished up our day at The Pasta Factory and then went to The King’s Head pub. The next morning, we woke up and prepared to go to the Cliffs of Moher!
