Pub Hopping in Dublin

☘︎

Exploring Dublin night-life

Overview

  • Duration: All Night!!!
  • Pubs we enjoyed: The Lord Edward, Darkey Kellys, Dudley's, Teać Na Céibe
  • Pubs we didn’t enjoy: Bad Bobs, Temple Bar

My Experience

In the night, we explored the pub culture in Dublin. We found that the ones in our neighbourhood, including Dudley's, The Lord Edward, and Darkey Kelly's, were much less overwhelming and perfect for grabbing one pint and getting a table with a group of friends. While the ones we enjoyed less–Temple Bar and Bad Bobs–were incredibly overwhelming and touristy, we are tourists, so it is a necessity to visit this area at least once! In the Temple Bar district, we loved Teać Na Céibe. We visited very late at night (around 1 AM), and it was still incredibly lively, with impressive live music. Overall, pub culture is huge in Ireland, whether it's a late-night out or a casual pint, and it’s a great way to fill your evening and immerse yourself with other travelers and locals.
